Tourism

ECLAC promotes the sustainable development of tourism by providing statistics, conducting studies, organizing meetings and providing technical assistance to governments, the private sector and subregional organizations. Here the studies on tourism are presented from different angles: its operation as a value chain and opportunities for upgrading, the impact of climate change and natural disasters on the sector, gender gaps in this activity, and the diversification of its services, among other themes.
